Gustavo Paz-Pujalt is CEO of Idealurgy, which specializes in concept and business development, including intellectual property strategy, licensing, and commercialization. He possesses several years of experience in the online photofinishing and direct-mail fields, resulting in a vast intellectual property portfolio and multitude of business successes. He holds more than 100 U.S. and international patents, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publicatis, and is an inductee of the Kodak Distinguished Inventors Gallery.
He led Eastman Kodak Company in the development of a penetration strategy for digital imaging technologies in emerging markets and led the concept development and invention of imaging technologies for the aerial remote sensing market. Paz-Pujalt also served as director of technology of IPValue
Management, which was co-founded by Goldman Sachs, the Atlantic Group, and the Boston Consulting Group.
He holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, with a concentration in physics, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He also has technology, business, leadership, and finance executive education certificates from The Wharton School, MIT-Sloan School, and MIT’s Center for Advanced Materials.
