You know that feeling when you gently remind your spouse (for the tenth time) to write your wedding thank-you cards—without wanting to sound like a nag, because hey, you just got married? Meanwhile, your mom keeps asking when they’ll go out, and all you can think is, “Can we just be done with this already?!” You’re trying to savor the newlywed glow, but instead, you’re stuck in stationery purgatory, mentally screaming: JUST WRITE THE CARDS!
If this sounds nothing like you, feel free to move along. But if you’re nodding in solidarity…keep reading, my friend. 🤝
I had a Google Drive full of wedding pictures for a year and a half. I had a box of thank-you cards waiting to be written for a year and a half.Â
All because we wanted to personalize them. And then…the procrastination began.Â
My husband is a big romantic. At our wedding, we shared stories about the typewritten letters he wrote me before we’d even had our first date. Naturally, he wanted to write individual typewritten letters on his 1930s typewriter to every single guest.Â
Have you ever waited for your husband or wife to do something like this—while also trying NOT to nag them because you just got married? Meanwhile, your mom is regularly asking why you haven’t sent your thank-you cards yet. And you’re kind of losing your mind, because you just want this part to be done, and you haven’t even had time to fully enjoy being married yet. So you’re over here like: JUST DO IT, MAN. WRITE THE CARDS!!!Â
Well… they’re still sitting there. A quarter of the way typed, bent, crimped, collecting dust under the typewriter.Â
We spent serious money on our photographer. Our pictures were beautiful. So, I had a brilliant idea: Christmas cards! And as a bonus, I could sneak the few finished typewritten notes into the envelopes.Â
Perfect plan, right?Â
Well. When I picked up the prints from the drugstore, the quality was awful. I didn’t even bring them home. I had spent hours designing these in Canva—testing out different layouts, choosing the perfect wedding photo, imagining how cute they’d look in our loved ones’ hands. I waited for them to be ready. I drove to the store. And then… they were so bad I wouldn’t even send them.Â
I cried on the drive home. Dramatic? Maybe. But I felt so defeated. All that effort, and for what? I told my husband I would never be a Christmas card person. This was a fail.Â
Then I found Frintz. THIS was how I could finally personalize my thank-you cards.Â
We had so many incredible candid shots from our reception—our friends and family dancing their hearts out, singing along to “Sweet Caroline” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” What if we included those in our thank-you cards? Instead of a photo of just my husband and me, we could send each guest a picture of them.Â
A memory they could put on their fridge, tuck into their car’s dashboard, or keep on their desk. Maybe a shot of them dancing with their partner, laughing and smiling. Maybe a candid of them during an emotional speech that brings them right. back. to the day.Â
And the best part?Â
The prints…totally free.Â
The quality…way better than those fuzzy Christmas cards from 2023.Â

I could even send more than one, because why not? They’re free (and I already spent enough on the dress, the flowers, the PHOTOS THEMSELVES… and everything else).Â
So, I placed like…five orders on Frintz. And they were all free. Now I’m waiting for the prints to arrive, and while I wait, I’m finally writing the dreaded thank-you notes. But guess what? I don’t have to write too much—because the photos do all the personalizing for me.Â
Thank GOD for Frintz. Thank god for my photographer.Â
And next year, when it’s time to print my Canva Christmas cards… because you know what? Maybe we are a Christmas card family…Â
I know exactly where I’ll be printing them. For free.Â
