There’s magic in going somewhere new… but there’s something really special about going back.
This summer, I’m heading to Italy with my husband and my parents. It’s not my first time there—in fact, Italy and I go way back.
My mom is Italian, and we took our first trip together when I was 15. I’ve returned a few times since then (including when my husband and I got engaged in Florence in 2021 ❤️), and every time I go, I call my mom constantly with updates.
But this trip? This one’s different.
This time, I get to bring my parents to my favorite corners of Italy.
The ones I’ve discovered slowly, visit after visit. The places that feel like mine.
We’ll be in Rome for my cousin’s wedding, which is exciting on its own—but the real dream is getting to walk cobblestone streets with my parents—showing them the places I’ve grown to love, and watching their faces light up as we create new memories together.
There’s something incredibly special about sharing a place like Italy with the people who raised you. As time moves forward, these moments feel more precious. More intentional. More like something I’ll hold onto forever.
So I’m making sure we remember it. Not just on our phones—but in print.
“So I’m making sure we remember it. Not just on our phones—but in print.“
While we’re there, I’m using the Frintz app to print some of our favorite moments as we go.
The goofy selfies. The sweet moments. The pasta shots, obviously.
It takes two minutes. I just select the photos I love, place a free order through the app, and they’re shipped straight to my mailbox at home—no shipping fees, no stress, no overthinking it.
1. It helps me pause and reflect.
Instead of thinking “I’ll sort these later,” I get to decide what matters right now.
2. No packing necessary.
Unlike the ceramics I’m probably going to try and bring back in my carry-on.
3. It keeps the memory alive.
I’ll come home to real photos I can hold, frame, or send to my mom as a surprise (even though she was there, she’ll still love it).
These are the memories I want to keep—so I’m printing them before “real life” kicks back in.
Trips like this don’t come around often. And if you’ve got one coming up—a big family trip, a reunion, even a weekend getaway—I can’t recommend printing your photos while you’re still on the trip enough.
Frintz makes it easy. It’s free. It’s fast. And it means your memories actually make it out of your camera roll and into your hands.
Because the best souvenirs?
They’re the ones that remind you how it felt.
Download the Frintz app and get started—it takes less time than ordering another Aperol Spritz. 😉
P.S. If we run out of wall space when we get home, just know it was the gelato’s fault.
